Goddess – Warrior – Actress…

Ambassadoress, Writer, Film Director, not to mention Mother of 5 or 6 and Wife of Mr. Smith. The titles are many for one of the coolest women in Hollywood.

Angelina Jolie has again inspired us with her awesomeness for the pure feat of her latest achievement…writing and directing the movie “In the Land of Blood and Honey”. Hereby joining the ranks of the many talented female directors in the film industry with powerful stories to tell.

Congratulations & respect from Copenhagen. We have named a shoe after Angelina in the new collection that we will soon be launching at fashion week. Keep your eyes open for Angelina – barund AW12.

4 our wish list

Ever heard of the Danish jewelery designer Kivi Lai? First time we spotted these super fine feather earings were on the ears of our lovely Agent Jannie.

Then we discovered they were featured at one of our favourite shops in Vesterbro, the fantastic -  Engleskyts (Istedgade). Today we discovered a rather large collection of Lai´s designs at Von Qualen in Frederiksberg (Gl. Kongevej).

Fine detailed jewelery for everyday living, kind of in a Line & Jo understated fineness yet different. Definitely more affordable. Here is Lai´s website but it doesnt really show the whole collection, so if you are interested in discovering Lai you will have to check out the shops.

A peek at Adélie

2011 has been a record tough year for most people involved in business. We all got to witness our favourite boutiques and cool project intiatives struggle and suffer, some have closed and some have survived… but hasn´t it been brutal?

Now a new year has arrived and we hear that the energy is going to be higher this year! Notice the new budding treasures, cool people and cool projects that need to be warmly embraced and supported.

Madsen show

Was so happy to receive the new edition of Cover in the mail today. The perfect treat to complete a sunny day. This issue seems to be focusing on Danish designers – Yeah!. We were delighted to see Anne Sofie Madsen featured and find out that she will be launching her line during Cph fashion week – next week. We have recently discovered this incredibly talented Danish designer & artist and have been waiting to see what she did next. Checked out her website and this is what we found. A gorgeous image probably made by her and a link announcing her show. We predict it will be amazing. Keep an eye out for the talented (Anne Sofie Madsen.)

We have just discovered one of the secrets of the masters of haute couture. They all seem to work with Lesage. The design atelier of  Jean-Francois Lesage is where masterpieces of fine embroidery are created by a brilliant team of artisians.
